The Crab Orchard Series in Poetry First Book Award is now closed to submissions.  The First Book Award Competition accepted entries postmarked May 15, 2010 through July 1, 2010.  Click the above link for complete guidelines.

Entries are now closed to our Annual Literary Contests, the Richard Peterson Poetry Prize, the Jack Dyer Fiction Prize, and the John Guyon Literary Nonfiction Prize. We will contact the winners by July 1, 2010, and we will notify entrants of the results once we have confirmed them (if they provided a SASE). We are closed for submissions until August 10, 2010.  We will will be responding to all writers who have submitted work in the past throughout the Summer and hope to have no unaccepted work in hand by August 10, 2010. We will announce the theme for our next special issue at that time.
